Professional Biography

Zeynel Karcioglu, JD/MBA

Mr. Karcioglu – who most clients and friends simply refer to as "Z" – was born and raised in the United States. He attended the University of Chicago and graduated with a degree in political science, concentrating in International Relations. He then attended the George Washington University where he received an MBA in addition to his law degree. Upon graduation, Mr. Karcioglu accepted a position at Pennie & Edmonds, LLP, a large Intellectual Property firm in New York as an associate in the firm’s trademark and copyright litigation practice. After a few years of working at Pennie, Mr. Karcioglu founded Zeynel Karcioglu, Esq., a law practice that focuses primarily on Intellectual Property law and Commercial Litigation for a domestic and international client base.

Mr. Karcioglu is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New York, and also the United States Federal Courts in the Southern and Eastern District of New York. He also regularly represents clients in the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and has provided counsel to actions in the Second, Third, and Fourth United States Circuit Courts of Appeal.
